Hello. I've been looking into SN/KN as a method to ctb. Most protocols I've come across have suggested metoclopramide as an antiemetic. I work in a vet clinic so I was able to steal some. However, the bottle says it expires this month. Is it going to be ineffective? If not, how long is it really good for?

It should be alright. Medicines generally have a long shelf life if stored properly and not exposed to outside air. For dry tablets, five years is a rough timeline. Their potency does gradually reduce with age, though.

Just curious, do you know if your vet clinic has nembutal, and if so do you have access to it? Cause if you're able to steal that then.. yeah...

It should be okay, expire date doesn't mean that the substance behind it magically gone after that, its just that the manufacturer can't guarantee the amount of its substance remains the same as in the package. With enough tablet you'll definitely get the effective dose needed as antiemetic.

Interesting idea tbh. Would love to know if op have nembutal there.

We do have euthasol , a solution containing pentobarbital (nembutal) . From the label I've found online , it seems like there is 350mg/100mL . I made another post about euthasol before where I found one with a concentration of 390mg/100mL but I don't think ingesting it would work unless I took several bottles . Is injecting it realistic or would I pass out before I was able to inject all of it ?

Euthasol is non-sterile euthanasia solution. No clue where you could have gotten 390mg/100mL from but that's definitely incorrect, if what you have is indeed euthasol. The linked site says, "Each mL contains: Active ingredients: 390 mg pentobarbital sodium." It states 390mg/1mL, so 39 grams/100mL per that estimation.

^ The PPH claims that the recommended reliable dose is about 10 grams. With 39 grams, you'd be well over the suggested amount.

And as a safety measure, if you are unsure about composition or want reassurance, you can send a sample anonymously to Energy Control for qualitative testing and they can tell you the exact nembutal concentration. The PPH also details how to do this.
