I apologize in advance because I imagine this has been posted before. It's also likely hella stupid. What are the odds of properly CTBing from drowning as someone who doesn't know how to swim? I live by the ocean. I think I'll probably try to just walk in with a very heavy backpack tonight between 3-4 am(5-6 hours from now). I'll have my dog with me with his gps tracker charged because I want him close by when it happens. I'll send the link to my dog's tracker to my ex partner right before I go in. Can this work or am I an idiot?
From a limited point of view.
Leave the dog at home, take your phone, text your gps pos if you want before you go in.
The following may give you pause, so you are aware.
There is alot I would be thinking about….high tide, low tide, how someone who cant swim reacts in the water, any number of additional ramblings I may have. Time may be of consequence depending where you are, wee hours is shark time at dusk and before dawn in some areas, different breeds react in different ways. There wouldnt be a need for a weighted back pack, get a float, get out far enough and throw it from you. Drowning is not peaceful, enough said on that as I would assume you are aware.
Your choice Sir/Maam is a hard road, if there is any easiness in this it is my desire that you have it. Whatever you choose may it be what you want.
