It will not work and it will be VERY painful , There are too many things that could go wrong and you have a very high chance of surviving and being a vegetable , along with that there are methods that a trillion times better than this , less painful and almost guarantee death if done right , other than that it will be well...impractical to even try this method

Lol thats some 60s shit. Electricity is much safer nowadays even when you put a shit ton of water on the power cord it'll still be safe.

First. Love your username. Car Seat headrest is goated.
Second. Has not been a viable method since like the 1960s. Something to do with electricity systems now being required to automatically shut off if something like this were to happen.

It's ok I've been there I tried to choke myself out with a belt and nylon stockings and electrical cords when I was desperate lmao

You can definitely hurt yourself, and be in a lot of pain, from doing this... but it isn't likely to kill you. The combination of how modern technology is built and circuit breaker tolerances in homes being much lower... it would be very unlikely to die this way. But you could put yourself in the hospital with a lot of pain.

People have died from having their iphones charging and it falling in the bath...😬 I was googling this the other day.

Only work with very old wiring and old fashioned rewirable fuses modern systems have rcd protection would shut off power in milliseconds
