Door coat hanger for partial hanging

I was uncertain about using the door knob/slippery door frame for my partial hanging, and i have this lying around. so i have my rope looped from the doorknob on one side, onto the coat hanger on the other side over the top, and then finally the noose hanging down to me. Seems quite stable, and i think this will at least balance the weight i am bearing over the top of the door frame more securely than juts the rope on the top of hte door would.

Just a recommendation in case others are struggling with this. Hopefully this works for me and i will be gone tonight!

Did you test it. I stood on mine jumping with full body wight to make sure. We only get one chance at it. What about thrashing

I did. I had one failure due to SI but everything held totally in place. One thing i did was loop the rope through a couple of those coat hangers (just to adjust for length, although i'm sure it distributes weight better across the coat hanger).

I'm only doing partial suspension so i'm pretty confident the rope and frame will hold just fine, but good advice!
