How often does someone die from putting there head in a oven ? Like im pretty sure it's not as common anymore , but what are the chances of someone dying from it now?

Modern gas ovens have electronic igniters. No ignition, gas shuts off.

Old ovens with pilot lights were different. Put out the pilot light and you could get the gas to flow. That could kill you with the gas directly or indirectly by blowing up your house.

Not all gas lines are the old kind that people used either. Was mostly coal gas before I think.

Now, natural gas is popular, which is a mixture of benign methane and ethane. Not very lethal. Smells terrible though.

It could go KaBOOM if there were high enough concentration.
