Do you think this forum will be played through one day when all open questions were asked and answered?

When everything starts to become redundant. Many people told me this forum was very repetitive. I am member since 4 years and I have still ideas for new threads.

I don't think this forum will be dead any time soon. There are way too many people who want to die. There will always be individuals who make this place special.

This place works on multiple levels. Only part of it is asking and answering questions. The biggest questions, I'm not convinced we'll ever have the answers to: What is the meaning of life? What happens after death? How did life come about? What is consciousness? Can it live beyond the body? Is there a God? I imagine people were asking the same questions 100 years ago and will still be asking them in 100 years time.

Also, people use this place to trauma dump. I suspect that will always be needed. Especially when most other places are so censored. Don't even hint that you might be unhappy. Don't mention suicide. Maybe people will increasingly need somewhere they can be honest if everything continues to be repressed.

Redundancy is the very lifeblood of this website and I say this as someone who's got tens of thousands of redundant posts. It's not such a bad thing either. Some of the people who stay may even find the consistency to be comforting. Even when it's not the same person saying the same things, the same things will still be said for as long as this site remains up. There will always be people who want to die for a small variety of the same reasons and no amount of repetition will ever change that. We're always gonna have threads about SN or the afterlife or romantic troubles and that's fine.

I wonder the same thing all the time as I have been on every day since I joined. I figured you always have new members so maybe you get some different opinions and such. And then people like you and @Forever Sleep come up with really interesting question. I don't know how you guys do it!
