Discussion Do you feel like you commited successfully?

This might sound dumb
Last week i try to cbt using ligature. Obviously i didn't succeed, but this time it felt different when i woke up the next day.
I felt and still feel like I'm dead, I'm already passed away.
I've always felt dead and numb most of my life but this time it's different, i can't quite put my hand on it or describe it properly.
Meybe is just severe dissociation.
Have you felt this way? Why does feel this way?

This has never happened to me, but it does sound like dissociation.

I felt what you're describing after a failed PSH attempt, kinda like none of this is real, and maybe I actually died and this is all just a fleeting dream in a dying brain.

It faded after a while, or maybe I just got used to it. It was nice in a way, I felt really far away from everything, no pain or sadness really, I wasn't even bothered that I survived, just numb and apathetic.
