Suicide prevention campaigns keep saying " don't kill yourself think of your family or friends". What about people who don't have family or friends? Or what about the people who don't have understanding or non judgemental family members or friends? Suicide prevention campaigns seem to ignore these people
I don't tell my family I am suicidal because they are judgemental. My family think because they overcame adversity and God helped them anyone who can't do the same is "weak". People like this are impossible to reason with.
If a person doesn't reach out to their family or friends it's for a reason. Not everyone has understanding family or friends . Reaching out can make it worse. I regret reaching out so many times believe me I did
