My date is not close at all (more like a year from now on) but I still feel like this, I'm reading books like a maniac. A book finished per 3/4 days.
Anyone here could relate? Leaving the world without its gems would be a shame, to me.

That is incredible, being able to read books that fast. I do not have the concentration to be able to read much anymore. I used to read quite a bit though. I wish you the best.

I used to be like this, and I can still relate to wishing I could read so many things. But these days I can barely do anything since I've just lost enjoyment in everything and my free time can be so little or filled with exhaustion. I think it's amazing you're able to read so much and feel strongly, treasure that. I hope you read some wonderful books.

Yes! That's good to hear. I'm grateful for the energy and ability to do some things like this. I know it's not always an option because circumstances and illness can take that away.

I like to read because it really helps my anxiety and feelings of uselessness. Like, when I read something with a really good theme, it makes me feel passionate again about something. If you have never read it, I recommend "Valley of the Dolls." I am a female who had a 10 month long benzo addiction. This novel really helped me to deal with the trauma of that experience. It's really sad to see how little about the perception of women has changed since the 60s. I also really enjoyed "The Exorcist." It has some great messages and is nothing like the movie, in my opinion. Lately though, I have been reading recommendations from tiktok and those have all been a waste of time.
