Do you care how your body looks after you die?

I would hate being found dead, regardless of how you die all dead bodies look gross. When I CTB it will be deep in the forest, I hope to do it in a bog or in a tree well, I don't want my body found at all.

The last thing I want is for my parents and brother to be wailing over my corpse and holding my dead hang after I CTB - it sounds horrible to put people you love so much through that.

Hell I don't really care how I look to other people now, much less after I'm gone. If anybody dont like me look the other way.
I used to want to be buried face down so the whole world could kiss my ass, but I've grown up a little since then.

Do you want to look like you're sleeping, or like you've been mauled?: if I had to choose, I would probably go with sleeping.

Not really. I'm going to be long gone when they find me anyways. I'm using SN though, so it wouldn't be as gorey as a gunshot wound.

I plan to kill myself by train (decap) and, among other things, people's concerns seem to lie heavily in that you sort of end up.. a mangled mess.

It's not for everyone I guess. For me, it's one of the more intriguing parts of the method.

While I don't particularly agree with your rhetoric I live by the motto "Dead man can not worry nor suffer".
Whatever happens after I die, happens. I have no more control over that and I for sure would never limit myself just because it might cause others trauma in some way or another.

While I don't actively want others to see me in a mangled state, which is why I will go with either SN, CO or Nitrogen/Helium, I do not disagree with people who choose more brutal methods. It is a great and stern warning to society as a whole to finally provide a peaceful way out for everyone.

Removing peaceful methods does not stop suicides it just makes it more bloody and traumatizing for those that want to live.
Just as banning abortions can not stop abortions but make them unsafe and deadly for both mother and the unborn fetus.
Just as banning drugs will not stop drug sale but make them even more unsafe, laced and dangerous for everyone involved.

It might sound radical to say this, but I would not even mind more people choosing to CTB by driving in the opposite Lane.

Change always ever only came with blood... Which sucks so insanely much.
But I will no longer tolerate having to exist solely because some pedophilic billionares require me as a wage slave


Still. After having said all that: Try to not involve others in your death. It is yours and yours alone.
