Hi, i have found a different anti - emetic, it's called dipenhydramine. Will this also do the job?

Nope. It has to be the kind of emetic that you get on prescription.

That's an antihistamine used to treat motion sickness. You need a dopamine blocker.

I plan to use this in case I get EPS from meto. I want to test it as a sleep aid. Not sure how much of a gamble using meto and diphenhydramine together (to prevent vomiting) would be. drug interaction checker says DH has EPS as a side effect, so I imagine it enhances the EPS risk inherent in taking meto.

EPS = Extrapyramidal symptoms

dystonia (continuous spasms and muscle contractions)
akathisia (restlessness)
pseudoparkinsonism i.e. drug-induced parkinsonism
bradykinesia (slowness of movement)
tremors
tardive dyskinesia (irregular, jerky movements)

I just put : antiemetic eps into a search engine, and it came up immediately.

But you should also get used to using the search function within this forum, because you'll get much more targeted answers....
