Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I'm sorry maybe I'm slow but can you please clarify your point here? I don't understand exactly what it is you are saying...

I think OP is just saying that mental health "professionals" should not impose their own views on the rest of humanity-- the view being 'only mentally ill people have suicidal thoughts'-- which is the prevailing thought on this site anyway. Most of us here accept that the psychiatric field is a soft science, and has very little in the way of actual hard data.

I like to remember the quote, "it is no measure of health to be well-adjusted to a profoundly sick society".

Thanks, it makes sense. To truly commiserate with the suicidal, one must first have experienced the darkness of suicidal thoughts. Those who have not endured this line of thinking cannot possibly seek to help as they are completely, wholly and emphatically unfamiliar with our situation. It is true that all men die. Unfortunately most people refuse to confront and engage in certain truths such as these...
