Partial hanging is better, and being sober is key. I did partial suspension when I was sober, and it was quite painless.Sadly my flight or fight instincts came in and I fell before I could black out.I'm going to try again soon when I have the courage.

Yes @Gina is why I will use chloroform to pass out, or at least become very disconnected with my body. Is the only way I find to reduce survival instincts. Believe in me, the first times I tried I was sober and sober I can't deal with it, even drunk I couldn't, but I believe with chloroform would be more easy.
