I'm Tired

I'm afraid to do it alone. Both my friend and I have been planning to do it for a long time but I'm afraid one will die and one will fail and survives and will face a murder charge? I plane to use SN. Here's my protocol:

Initial benzos to keep me calm and not enough to fall asleep (klonopin)
Meto
SPRAY LIDOCAINE ON TONGUE AND THROAT
crushed klonopin + crushed propranolol
SN in cool water in one gulp
rinse mouth with cool water
lie down and wait

Do you think it's a bad idea? We are best friends and don't want to go through a period of grief if one dies first so we want to do it together.

This is such a desirable idea..I would love to go with someone. Someone to do the work with, someone to lie down with

However, what if one of you changes your mind. If someone decides they'd like to call for medical help and the other doesn't? What if someone just survives and the other doesn't? These have been my thoughts when I think about someone I care for very much...I just can afford to be stopped.

Just my 2 cents.

You wouldn't get a murder charge if one lived and the other died. But the trauma would be enough to cover for that anyway. As for it being a good idea? I think that's up to the both of you. If you're both 100% certain it's what you want, and you're willing to accept the risks that come with that, then that's your decision. No one else can make that for you. Although personally, I would recommend trying to find treatment together and being supportive first. CBT'ing together should be your absolute last possible resort. I am wishing you both peace

We discussed it and if at the the last moment and either of us change our mind, we won't do it. I'm just not sure what to do if I survive and she doesn't and I wake up too late and they find me.

Got it, you've spent time getting on the same page. And like others have said, no one can tell you what is the right decision for you.

I read about a case in one of the books of a married couple trying to ctb together and the husband failed. He did get charged with the death of his wife (I don't think it was "murder" maybe just manslaughter or even just failure to help etc). But yeah he went to jail
