CTB w zip ties and socks

Hello fellow future bus catchers. What do you think about using two tightly folded pair of socks to compress your carteroid arteries, and securing them with zip ties around your neck? Could this work, you think? Thank you!

Socks probably aren't thick enough, and have the ability to be compressed too much to be effective, as I understand.
