I'm going to (hopefully) ctb tomorrow by partial hanging.
Going to use a scarf and tie a slipknot then attach another knot to a door.

Do you think this method would work? Last time I gave it a test run, I started losing my vision and think i felt a noise in my ears, but that was when the scarf was tied so tightly that I couldn't even breathe. I tried loosening it but nothing happened for 2/3 minutes apart from breathlessness so I stopped.

Any help would be appreciated

My understanding is that when doing partial the carotid arteries need to be covered. I have seen a section on lost all hope in the megathread section

i could work, but htere“s always a risk. for example the scarf would be better replaced by a rope

Agreed. It can be done by the above but a rope has better reliability and I suppose easier to work with

I'd use a rope but I don't want rope burn or my neck to hurt too much :/

Tried with a belt and I didn't like it either

I used Vaseline around my neck once and it didn't hurt much. I have seen it advised to use a thin piece of cloth under the rope.

Hey, same here, I only have a scarf as an option. I plan on CTB tonight as I have fallen ill and on top of my already mental and social problems I just can't deal. Yeah I may get better physically but it's just a reminder that I'm stuck here in a weak, pathetic, and irrelevant existence.

I have such a difficult time finding my cartoroid arteries as an overweight person. Does anyone have any advice? I have not gotten even remotely close to passing out. I'm doing partial suspension and using a scarf and door, though I may search for a belt instead.

Rope burn comes from movement. If you lean into it evenly, that should not be a problem.

Totally unrelated but love your picture. Glad to see another Breaking Bad fan on this site.
