i just noticed you can sort posts in any forum by values other than most recent post - most views, most reacts, and most comments are very interesting. i can hardly believe there was a time when this could exist.

you can also sort by date of first post which is super interesting to see how much less people spammed it. compare sorting by the very oldest first post:



1 page = march 17 - april 8, vs sorting by newest first posts...

hm ok maybe poor comparison; exactly 5 years into the forum existing, one day's worth of new posts were already filling an entire page (march 18 begins around the same place on following page as the 17th did on this).

but the volume frequency undeniably increased seeing as how after exactly 5 years, only slightly more than 1/3 of the total pages existed; almost double that amount being created in the subsequent 3.5ish years:

I've not even thought of such insights, I've merely done random nickname and keyword searches, and tested out "what if 2 ppl remove themselves from a Conversation" with a user who helped me do the tests.

that fucking tantacul guy.
he made his video shortly after that post (almost exactly three years ago), and look - almost half the main forum's posts went up in the 5.5+ years before it, and over half went up in the subsequent three years.
