After doing research the most relatively easily accessible high spot above 50 meters that I could find are cranes.
If i find one that has a hard surface underneath, the impact should be painless from that height because I will instantly black out from the shock.

My concerns are
1. SI increasing if someone calls me out for climbing a crane or calls help to save me
2. How hard will it be to control my fall

First of all, I'm so sorry you feel that this is your only option. Sending you virtual hugs. On the other hand, considering the idea that the exterior of a crane was not exactly meant to me walked on freely, there would probably be lots of wind, which may increase SI and make it difficult to keep balanced. This could lead to a fall before you intended. This method sounds really risky :(

Thanks for replying

I know it sounds risky but it is the best method I could think off. If I decide to climb it will be inside the crane on a ladder not on the outside (where crane operators climb to get up).

This method is special because I know for a fact that if done correctly there will be almost no pain involved.

Ohhh I thought you may have been talking about the outside of the crane! This does then sound like a failsafe method. I wish you the best in your endeavors, and I wish you peace.

How wide would the inside of the crane be? Is there a chance that your body would be obstructed by the sides of it (consequently slowing your fall, not to mention being incredibly painful) if you were flailing around?

That would be very painful indeed. However im in pretty good shape and fit which helps so I think the probability of me somehow falling not how I intended too are low.

Well, it is more so the concern that the fear/adrenaline could lead to this rather than being out of shape.

Sidenote: I had a dream last night about jumping off a building probably because of this very conversation lol

interesting lmao
I think about jumping as a method all the time but never dream about it

Yes I agree, its a risk that I could fall but i will try to stay calm to avoid this, but even thinking about going to climb a crane freaks me out. I think i need to be very impulsive and not be carried away by my thoughts when I decide to go through the plan. I failed at partial hanging, can't get SN/N and not too many other options are left.

Since a long time ago I have associated suicide with jumping, I always fantasize about it. But unfortunately no easy spots to jump from that are high enough.

It was a skyscraper, and I recall that I actually enjoyed it to some degree, which is strange because I am afraid of heights and have sometimes felt nauseated at the thought of doing it IRL.

Hmm, well, the concern is that while you may initially fall of your own volition, the fear may cause "SI" to kick in halfway down. I have heard of this happening with jumpers before, but I don't know how common it is, or what measures one might take to mitigate it (benzos, perhaps?), I'm afraid.

Yes, it is rather difficult to find a place high enough (50 meters on land at least, ideally higher) that is easily accessible.

This option is really difficult. Your choice etc, but like I've tried this ticket with a building and it was terrifying going down. So just warning you. Def fine after you hit but the fall sucks.

Couple notes just to help if this is what you want.

-Due to horizontal inertia, you have to make sure there's no cushions further out from where you're jumping. I did a running jump so here I am. Watch out for snow banks.

-Also that climb can be brutal. If you're strong you're probably fine but I'd bring gloves for the cold metal. 50m is a long climb.

I'm really curious about why the running jump failed? That is absolutely terrifying.
