Hi

Do you know if you get put into a coma if you get sent to hospital after OD? or do they just let you lie there in pain?

I dont think they will put you into a coma, it depends on what is taken. Say you drank something extremely corrosive and were in complete agony unable to breathe for yourself, they would sedate you and put you on breathing support, if it was medications, they will just wait for you to gain consciousness yourself, just monitoring your vitals until you (possibly) come around again

I don't think so. Induced coma is usually used for extreme pain - like burn victims.

Induced coma is only for extreme situations, like excruciating pain or if someone has to be on full life support.
