How to deal with chronic feeling of emptiness?

Past few days I was feeling fulfilled, and suddenly yesterday this sudden deep bottomless hole appears; now I'm helpless.

It's like a black hole, no matter my desperate attempts to fill it with something; it will just spaghettified and poof gone. I'm feeling helpless and resisting from self-destructive behaviors to cope; that I know, will not work and the urge to do it is strong despite the knowledge of it.

I'm in tremendous pain now, and need any suggestion to help to at least ease it. :'(

HELP ME!!!

I'm sorry, I wish I had the answer. Maybe someone else will be able to suggest something that helps. I'm going through the same thing at the moment so you're not alone in how you feel. I want to climb out of this hole but I don't know how. All I'm doing at the moment is trying to distract myself by watching something funny on Netflix. I was debating on sticking on a workout video and try to work up a sweat but I'm not feeling particularly motivated.

I struggle a lot with emptiness too. Sometimes it helps me to go outside and observe nature. I'll take pics of plants and animals to force myself to focus on what's around me.

I'm sorry you're in such a tough spot. Please try not to do anything hasty :(

I've been watching The Good Place on Netflix, it is funny and light. I have trouble sticking with exercising too.

If you had something and now it is gone, you can try to recapture it or replace it.

Often breaks in one's schedule can leave one feeling empty. It can seem too much effort sometimes to fill it with things for yourself. However, if you find ways to help or encourage others, you might find a way to fill the emptiness.

Feeling empty is the worst! Maybe try something you've never done before? Painting? Write a song? A new language? It really helps me when I feel empty. Hope it can help you a bit to!
