Chocking on grapes or cherries on purpose

When I was younger, I had a close encounter with death while I was eating cherries. I made the mistake of breathing while eating and it created an in-draft. The cherry directly fell into my lung tubes and I couldn't breath at all.

Once you choke there is no way out, especially if you're alone. How is this reliable ? That would look like an accident on the outside

yeah, not enough data. I was thinking of harder food, interesting that she was able to choke on a burger given it easily breaks into pieces with saliva

Only worry is that some air could still get out or that the piece of food gets vomited after some time and end up in a vegetative state

I assume she took a bite and forced it down the wrong way
... or get coughed up

There are 340,000,000 people in the US. 5500 is not that many people when you look at the whole population size.

Just a strange coincidence that happened to me. 10 days after ordering my SN i nearly choked myself by breathing in a half eaten candy. Judging by what I felt, It is a horrible way to go, but at least the agony and suffering from that method would last barely 5 minutes.

The last time i choked like that was almost 30 yeas ago. Maybe this choking was a sign that my time in this world is running up.
