I was raised in the middle of nowhere and there were coyotes all over the place. I never liked hunting or killing any living being EXCEPT darn coyotes. They are the worst of the worst. Scavengers, lazy opportunists and would attack the family farm dog in a flash, as they always travel in packs and for some reason HATE most dogs. They would kill a dog but not consume it just kill it and leave.
So, I always had a high powered rile around and dispatched them as quick as I could pull the trigger.
Put a dead coyote up on a fence and the death smell will keep them away for some time.
Just hate those damn coyotes so bad, nothing good about them at all ever.
