I'm too scared to die, but I cant keep living either. Life keeps getting worse. Even though I have it good, I still fucking hate it. I have no clue what to do. No treatments have ever helped. I don't even know what to say in this post, I just need help.

What exactly are you afraid of in death? The process of dying? A possible afterlife?

What are you dealing with? Mental illness? Physical illness? Poverty?

The phrase "stuck between a rock and a hard place" may apply when there seem to be no options. However as long as you are alive, you have options, they may just be ones you haven't thought of or tried.

Consider doing something different like visiting a support group, calling a pastor of a small church to see if you can just talk, doing volunteer work, checking out videos from the library, taking a leisure class like cooking, etc.

If you are locked into a particular thought pattern, you may be able to break out of it once in a while and experiment with building new ones.

You stated in the last post that you have mental illness. How do you have it so good then? I promise I am trying to help...I just don't fully understand. I'm mentally ill and I don't think I have it good. I might have money and a good job but that only goes so far in life. It sounds like you are missing something in your life. If so, I feel the same way. I have this emptiness inside me.

Also, have you tried therapy? I did but it only helped a little bit. Honestly, I find this forum more helpful compared to therapy. Have you ever taken any medication for your illness? Unfortunately it can take some trial and error with medication which sucks. I have changed my medication dose several times over the last 2 years and finally figured out the right dose without the help of my psychiatrist.

I have a good job, financially stable, own place, own car, access to decent healthcare, good health, loving parents, things like that that others would love to have. Ive tried therapy for year, tried about a dozen med combos.

I basically have the same things and still feel emptiness. Do you feel empty? The medication I take at least keeps me calm and helps me with my issues. I'm sorry that therapy and medication isn't working for you.

Have you tried doing volunteer work? At an animal shelter or homeless shelter? Animals are about the only thing that helps me feel joy anymore. It used to be a dream for me to have all my shit together so I could do a lot of volunteer work but it looks like that will never happen for me.
