Help Can i use a neck tie for the night night method?

I'm planning to use 2 t-shirts ( or socks ) and a neck tie but idk if that's effective or tight enough. I've tried so many methods today and i'm so tired I just need one of these too work.

How are you planning to generate the force with the tie? Usually, night-night is done with something like ratchet straps.
