Ummmm I don't know. I guess it's possible because you're disturbing your circulatory system. You might wanna research that. I'm guessing you'd be more likely to cause a brain problem than a heart problem. I'm no expert, though.

Frequent and repeated compression of the carotid arteries can lead to some issues, but it's not typically classified as a direct cause of any actual heart problems. It may lead to vascular issues which indirectly affect heart health (or potentially something neurologic, but the risk is pretty low).

But to answer your actual question of developing heart issues from it? None that I am aware of.
