Hi, I know many suggest to take Benzos or some sort of prescribed drug to calm you down and reverse SI to make the situation easier.

Would weed (specifically CBD) be a good alternative for this?

I don't know about other people but to me CBD alone feels like a complete scam. They made it legal in my country a few years ago if the thc is below like 0.2% and i bought some thinking it'd help my anxiety but it did nothing. Just tasted like weed i suppose. I don't know how THC weed works cause i've never had it so i won't comment on that. But CBD alone? Def not.

Personally, weed ( THC ) makes me very paranoid and, instead of reducing my anxiety, it increases it. However, this is a very subjective effect. I have read, though, that weed has good antiemetic properties.

I smoked weed for decades and it helped me a lot with anxiety, but you have to be careful. If you haven't done it before, or it's been a long time since you last did it, it usually makes anxiety shoot through the roof, along with some paranoia.

High-CBD weed had a very mild effect compared to something with more THC, so it doesn't feel like you're getting high, but it still has some calming and antiemetic effects. It's nowhere near as strong as benzos, but it could give a little boost to help you feel calmer and less nauseous.

If you go looking for high-CBD strains it can be tricky to find it in stock because it isn't very popular in most places. Here's a list of strains with very little THC:

I tried a few strains on that list and honestly I can't tell much of a difference, they're all very mild. I just took whatever they had in stock.
