Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

For Gen Z adults, the oldest of whom are now reaching their late 20s, suicide is taking more lives than 10 years ago when millennials were the same age.

The post kind of touches on untreated depression and the future prospects for jobs are not the same as what they were for the older generations. So I assume it's still the same thing of being depressed.
They also mentioned that 90s kids (specifically 1995 an onwards) were overprotected in real life, but under protected in the virtual world - which caused us to be the "anxious generation". I'm usure if anxiety is an attribute for suicide, but I could see it being a big factor of other underlying mental health problems that would then lead onto being more susceptible to want to CTB.

Of course, we live in a fuck hole of society where large groups of people hate each others gut. The article said the increase was primarily black and Hispanic men. Not surprising they feel like they have no future in a country with such a large population of rabid racist white evangelicals. I think the suicide rate is the highest among middle age white men however. In short, everyone is getting screwed no matter what color you are.
That coupled with all the other societal problems and I'm just shocked the suicide rates are not higher.
