Hi. Decided that if a certain thing in my life doesn't go to plan, I will be CTB. Of course, this means I must find a plan, and I am wondering what the best medication to OD on is. Sleep medicine? Antidepressants? Does it even matter?
There's still a lot of questions and inquiries about ODs, and people asking about what things may facilitate a successful attempt. Let's be clear, ODs are rarely fatal. Why? For a couple of reasons: (1) modern medications are designed to be very safe, as manufacturers aim to avoid deaths that...

Well it's an interesting question. As others have said your chances are slim. Very.
But still, something must be "best". As for otc there are some reports about Benadryl working.
Fentanyl, if you can find it. But I've been reading about a way using Helium that looks promising.
If I didn't need to make it look accidental I would definitely be doing it with Helium.
You'll have to do your own research, because I don't want to be responsible for helping someone ctb. But if you are determining enough you shouldn't have any trouble finding out how it works.

Your chances are still slim, and even if it does work it will be a horrific death. Terrifying hallucinations are a key feature of benadryl overdoses. Ask anyone who has survived them. I've taken several small overdoses of benadryl and didn't take enough to hallucinate but was very anxious and paranoid.
Codeine is most commonly taken by mouth. When you overdose on any substances that you eat or drink, your body forces you to puke, so that you're less likely to get seriously ill or die. While it's technically possible to overdose on codeine, it's one of the weakest opioids. I think there is plenty of information on opioids both on this forum and on other websites though, so no need for me to elaborate on what is more likely to cause a fatal overdose.

I'm thinking about ODing on 1500mg of codeine. I would try to snort at least half of that crushed, to increase bioavailability and conversion. I would also ply myself with a lot of alcohol to potentiate it, and would take some meto beforehand to address the vomiting risk. I'm thinking this could work.
