Hi, just like what the title suggests:
What would be the best CBT method I could possibly afford?
More context:

  • I'm not independent enough, I still live with my parents despite being an adult
  • I don't have my own money (Unemployed/Student) so I'm financially dependent on my parents
  • I live in Iran which is under tons of sanctions and bans, so buying items online from Amazon, eBay, and/or another country, etc is out of the picture
+ Additional question, how do I avoid arising suspicion? I don't want my parents to worry about me more than they already do.

First, it's important to consider why? Are you sure you want to do this? Have you tried getting help for whatever issue is driving you to this?

Most accessible method will usually be hanging. It's not pleasant but it works. Rope can be purchased almost anywhere in the world for very cheap. Sometimes even a little bit of pocket change is enough to buy a few yards from a hardware store. Can you scrounge up that much?

Hi, thanks for caring. Yes, I have tried multiple recovery paths (Therapy, helplines, etc); unfortunately, none have worked for me

I could try, but due to inflation.. it would be difficult (costs at least 119,000). My other concern would be if a rope could support an overweight (fat) person? 😅
