Jumping is very random. I have known someone who ctb instantly by jumping from a 6 story, not that high, but some others survive on 20+ stories... Seems like a gamble to me.
About prescription pills, is it for sedation (benzos in association to another method), or to OD?
As for hanging, it's OK not to be confident. I myself cannot help you with that, I'm the same... I heard disinhibiting with alcohol beforehand and doing a full drop hanging helps success rates, but take my words with a grain of salt.

In any case I encourage you to lurk around the forum and read the PPH Essentials + January 2025, see if it clears up your thoughts.

It's sucks, they take away any potential way we have to kill ourselves. I'm obese , so I think hanging would be impossible. I think about jumping off a building or throwing myself in front of a truck on the highway.

Im not obese but I've tried hanging before and last time the thing I attached it to snapped and I tried partial hanging but genuinely no matter how much I look up how to do it I keep failing. I might try overdosing again ...last time I got help but this time if I don't I might have a chance

If you have money, there are methods of chemical asphyxiation, such as carbon monoxide, exit bags, and so on. I think suicide is legal in Switzerland and Canada too, that would be the best way.

I'm pretty poor if I gather up all my money I only have like $500 ....$700 of I sell some stuff which I'm currently doing

I cannot speak for Canada, but for Switzerland, sadly you need to go through a lengthy medical assessment to actually prove you need it By their standards, of course. Living near Switzerland, I have never read of any cases where someone got it legally from mental health issues alone. The patient (client? lol) always needs to have some form of chronic uncurable physical diseases. So eligibility is super strict there... sorry

I think it depends on your specific situation and access etc. and also a bit of research and planning. For example, falling onto hard surface (concrete) doesn't have good chances of survival (if high enough). Even less so if you're skinny (not much cushion), if you (somehow) try to land head first (not butt or arms or legs), and if you ensure you do it when no one is around who could save you shortly after. Also ensure no midway ledge or anything would interfere with the fall. The higher the better of course too.

Honestly jumping is looking like the only way ...but if I become paralyzed....cause the highest place I can find is a 10 story parking garage

Jumping from a high place is something that I considered, but I hate heights and my survival instinct will mostly kick in and I won't follow through.

Honestly, I am sorry that you are experiencing so much pain that you're considering ending your life. I wish I had easier answers.
