Benzo in sn method

Hey I just took 1mg xanax to see if it could reduce anxiety and help fall asleep for Sn method but thing is, it has been more than two hours and even if my head is a little bit spinning/confused I m still fully awake. As I m usually sensitive to cigarette and alcool I expected something stronger.

Would it be useful to double dose and take 2mg ? If the purpose of taking benzo is to help black out.

In pph it's recommended to take benzo one hour before sn but now it's been 2 ans half hour and still awake depsite I was tired

Xanax (alprazolam) is a benzo which works stronger anti anxiety , but has a weak effect on the sleap insetad. diazepam (valium) , or ketazolam (anseren) or midazolam are your choices

I think different benzos can have different effects on people. Xanax does knock me out, but it may not for you.

You're using benzos so it's probably only going to mellow you out. I would go more towards opioids if you're looking to fall asleep for it, even just something like codeine

Okay now (3 hours after) I feel like I want to sleep, maybe will sleep deeper, will update tomorrow

Here to update, finally it make me sleep well but the "knock out" effect wasn't as strong as expected with 1mg of xanax and took about 3 hours. As I'm running out of time and have difficulties to get prescribe sometthing else, it will be my option. I will probably take 2mg for my préparation to ctb.

I don't think taking two would cause any harm in your method. But be prepared, lots of people fall asleep because they didn't gauge the time properly.
