I have bad vision and have been struggling with a switch lite for month since normal switch are nearly impossible to get nowadays. Real switch was finally at Target today. I ordered it online and paid for it so it would be held. They had a 4 hour window, and refused to let us get it early. 3.5 hours in I'm getting ready to go pick it up, and the email came in that they sold the switch that I PAID FOR. I was sad, but didn't show it. We went to another store, but they sold the last one minutes before we got there. GameStop had one in stock and wasn't open yet, and we had 40 min to make the 30 min drive. We got there early and waited... people showed up after us and had to wait and watch us buy the one and only switch left within 200 miles.
I can't begin to express how much a win like this help all the unending constant stressors of being a stay at home mom during quarantine with 2 kids in zoom meeting school. What a rollercoaster of a day. I didn't let anyone see how stupidly sad Targe's mess up made me.
