Games Anyone else getting animal crossing to curb their loneliness?

I'm just wondering how many others are getting it since the interaction with it is better than nothing

I was looking forward to it (and the FF7 remake) but since I set a date in this month to ctb, I'm probably not going to get chance to play them.

I'm very excited for it, I'll probably actually play it regularly instead of just catching rare bugs and buying the biggest house, theming rooms and then never playing like i did with new leaf

IMO outside of it and maybe breath of the wild. You're not missing much.

Btw you might be able to pirate it and play it on an emulator

I was about to debate with you on this, but I've just realised that most of the games I play on Switch are ports from other consoles/PC. I think the only exceptions are BoTW, Link's Awakening, Pokemon Sword and Dragon Quest Builders.

Oh, and Fire Emblem Three Houses! Can't believe I forgot that!

Ya it seems like if you didn't have a PC or other systems, then a Switch wouldn't be that bad. But I already got games like Skyrim and The Witcher 3 on my computer. And they are nothing new there.
I think if it had something newer like Red Dead 2 or something saying Cyber Punk will be on it, then I might start walking back what I said. But it just doesn't seem like a console I would say is a must have outside people really into 1st party titles and titles like Pokemon.
