I fell into love with Peter Wessel Zapffe and his work after reading "The Last Messiah." But there are hardly any English translations of his work, which is a great shame because I feel that he was one of the most brilliant antinatalist philosophers ever produced by the 20th century.

I have my heart set on reading his magnum opus, On the Tragic, but I don't know Dano-Norwegian. It's been like 80 years since On the Tragic was published but no English translation is forthcoming. It breaks my heart!

Has anyone here ever read On the Tragic in the original Dano-Norwegian? Is anyone here anxiously awaiting a translation of Zapffe's work in a modern language like German, French, English, etc.?
