Any other therians?

I am a dog ^_^ technically wolf-hybrid, but pretty much functionally a dog. I have phantom ears, tail, and occasionally a muzzle. My ears are the strongest. I can feel them pivot to different sounds whenever something loud is in the distance. My tails wags when I am happy/uncomfortable, and I wear tails and find myself sometimes subconsciously wagging them with my paws when I feel these ways. It's not as strong as my ears, but still. I also wear dog collars and when I am nervous or lost, I occasionally pull myself along like someone is walking me to help calm me down. I have many other therians in my system (DID) such as foxes, a hyena, a centipede, cats, a crow, a rat, and the manifestation of a song (don't ask me how that one works I have no idea lol).

Anyway! Curious if there are any others and your experiences being a therian/otherkin :)

Aww, I love cat therians! My best friend's main host is a cat therian :) really bridging the supposed rivalry between cats and dogs lol. Tbh I think a large part of my system is to some degree non-human too. It tends to happen a lot with systems in particular I've noticed.

The song thing is so based. I miss my song alter. Its name is Super Mango Party Asbestos Surprise and is probably our most energetic/funny alter. It got trapped in deep inner world like most of my system rn, but I hope to see it again :,)

Therian blocked by my stupid body but in all seriousness, I do actually enjoy being a therian :) I do wish a lot that I could have my real dog-body out here, but it's not too horrible, being able to have opposable thumbs and all lol

It just means that the therian identifies their body as nonhuman too.

The term holothere just means that someone identifies as fully nonhuman. Not just mentally, spiritually, etc. Ri uses this term because his inner world body can literally turn into a wolf. She was formed as a therian, but can also shape-shift. The coiner of the term holothere even says this is a valid reason to use the term.

Greithere is just holothere but trauma-based. I view my physical body (as I am the host) as non-human. Sort of recclaiming it, I guess.

yes! i've been a therian since i was pretty young, before i even had access to the internet lol. you can probably tell my theriotype, but my secondary theriotype are snow leopards.

Ohhh ok yeah that makes sense, I also identify like that :) I mean... pretty hard not to when I can feel all of the physical characteristics of a dog and am also a dog in headspace/inner world lol. Ahh we all should be able to shapeshift all the time, it's a tragedy no one can actually see me as a true dog lol.

Omg coyotes and snow leopards are such cool theriostypes! I love snow leopards when they discover pumpkins lol. It's so cute how high they jump.

Guess it does make sense so many systems would have therian alters. I mean if you're going to be a multiplicity, might as well get some cool critters in there Whenever the rest of my system decides to actually come out of lockdown I'm sure I'll find even more weird little guys. I do have a Garfield so, there's like therian with extra fictive layer too lol

we have a wolf in our system and a cat. sometime I feel wolf's ears or I feel our body as a body of a big cat when I close the eyes.It happens when cofronting

I'm not a system per se, but I did develop a very similar coping mechanism. It's difficult to explain haha what matters is that all "parts" of me are me; so the cat in my head is me. It's me when I feel like a cat. And well, that's where the cat comes in.

Her name is Katta, she's a black cat and loves to curl up. All black, all eyes. Her eyes are very big and sorta yellow/light brown. She looks a lot like my deceased cat ... Oh well.

Thankfully my body is very flexible so she can essentially become a ball! Also hates eating utensils... Always eating with fingers since it's difficult to eat straight from a plate without a snout.

I love her a lot and she's helped me cope many times! Sometimes I just gotta retreat as cat.
