I think I will take antipsychotics to calm my emotions and si

Antipsychotics made me want to die 10x more. I was taking Zyprexa for 6 months and thought about killing myself 24/7. Now that i'm off it i'm still suicidal but way less. So in a way they do decrease SI by amplifying your existing Suicidality.

Not all antipsychotics make SI worse (or better). Depends on the medication and on how your body metabolizes them!

Editing to add: I read SI as suicidal ideation.... lol
