• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

    👉 View the ledger here

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

not sure what proof u would need to believe but the site isn't compromised.

most of the time, IT outages aren't really that exotic.
Ah ok. As long as it wont expose us. And wont see a increase in "Wellness check"

Just donw time that long and no reason disclosed idk...
But ok you i trust <3

Ps. Seeing as SS is hosted on cloudflare the only issues at those times was Newark.... So idk.

And Luis and Zara where not affected... (HNS SS uses at this time)

Glad we're back. I was feeling depressed and this site was down it was hard. I find the comfort from this site makes me less depressed.

Hey I just read an article saying the UK is causing problems for the site. Are we in danger of being shut down? Do we have a backup plan?

Aforementioned article: https://www.theguardian.com/technol...ne-safety-act-after-failing-to-block-uk-users
That's stupid, and people in the UK can't access the rest of the site beyond 1 page anyways~ however, I do admit that recommending people get a vpn on that page isn't great optics~ >_<

Wait a second. So there was a data loss the previous time? What was the loss if you don't mind me asking?
Same question.

NO - PGP verification or key in signature.

No - Proof that SaSu is secure, and not compromised.

2 days give PLENTY of time to backdoor or gain acess.

With many LEO and GOV hating this site idk man.

"We experienced a service interruption caused by an unexpected issue on our infrastructure provider's end."

Im still sketched. Will use with caution. Tread carefully.

Just saying since this is MAJOR and not something small.....

Feels sketchy and compromising withought reassurance that you still have acess and full controll of servers and nothing was compromised....
this is a great point

a pgp signed message from a mod, providing control of message signing ability, would go a long way to prove there was no server compromise in the case of unusual downtime. this was very strange and a long time to be down.

1. What happened?
We experienced a service interruption caused by an unexpected issue on our infrastructure provider's end. This made the site inaccessible for approximately 48 hours.

2. Was any data lost?
No. All user data, posts, and accounts are intact.

3. Why did it take so much time to restore?
We had to wait for the provider to resolve the issue on their side. During that time, we ensured everything was safe and ready to come back online immediately once service was restored.

4. Is everything stable now?
Yes. The site is back online and functioning normally.

5. What's being improved?
We're implementing additional safeguards behind the scenes to reduce the risk of this type of outage happening again.

6. Thank you for your patience
We appreciate everyone who stuck with us through the downtime. Everything is back to normal now.
Interestingly, while trying to find an answer for why the site was down, I also noticed that fix the 26 went offline. I don't know how long it's been down for and it's still down.

it's protected by cloudflare not hosted by them, the real host server is hidden. At the beginning of the outage the page said Cloudflare is working but couldn't reach the host server to serve you the website.
