Discussion About slitting wrists

If someone were to slit an artery in only one of their wrists, would they die?
Or would the bleeding stop before they die?

I don't recommend this but yes cutting a major artery deep enough would cause a ton of bleeding and would kill you... but you'd be in significant pain
