Does anyone know what the difference is between start chat and start conversation when you click someone's profile?

I pressed start chat and sent a message but I can't find the message anywhere now.

Chat starts instant messaging like chat, conversations basically creates a private thread for up to 6 people. Conversations are better for longer interactions since you can see the history.

You don't have enough posts yet for chat to become unlocked I believe, that's why you can't find the chat message anywhere.

Also, your profile is still set to private, so most members can't see it. Most of us did not notice this initially when we signed up until somebody alerted us :). So if you want users to see your profile, like the "about" tab and whom you're following, you'd have to change that somewhere in the settings :) Currently I can only see a bit of info when it hovers over your name.
