• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

    👉 View the ledger here

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

if i had that button... Oh it would change everything! I think i might've stuck around for a while even, when it gets too much just KMS. Its a super-power! Escape hatch thats always available. No fasting, no meto non of that! How elegant...

Although, Id have to exercise some discipline with it at least at first - the temptation to press it might be too strong! The point is to use the button when you absolutely sure you exhausted all other options!

My honest response is that I would press a magic button that would end my life. However, I have people in my life that I would inadvertently harm in the process which continues to make CTB a null consideration.

Yes. But the button might be misused as some others might just press it on impulse.
But who are we to judge whether they are truly "misusing" the button? By placing that value judgment on their decision, you do the very thing that society does to us. Even among the long suffering, the narrative is often that suicide is an impulsive act or a crime of passion rather than the fruition of a long process of weighing and planning. Thus the Baker Act and other involuntary psych holds. The only way is for people to just be allowed to go without the impositions and gatekeeping of others.

Well I guess whatever floats your boat. I do think that there are people who ctb just because they are just really upset at that moment (without much thought or consideration) or some may even use it to threaten others. However that's only my view. We can agree or disagree.

Blackmailers, and those using it impulsively. The way to prevent this, would be the button wouldn't work if it sensed you are using it to blackmail, or using it impulsively. Anyways they could still blackmail without the button anyways, but it is important for the button to not allow that. Also if you lose the button it comes to you magically, if you say the magic word. Let's be wizards lol.

I've thought about it terms of a button many times and asked myself that very question. Some days the answers is Yes,. Other days I have a bit of hope.

I spoke to my counsellor about this a few weeks back - I think we decided no-one would get beyond the age of about 10 because at that age the tiniest things make life seem so unfair!

Also I did find this the other day which says there is a way (for scientists) to turn off your consciousness: https://www.extremetech.com/extreme...for-human-consciousness-deep-within-the-brain

They could then just shoot you in the head when you're out I guess, or suffocate you or whatever.

I want to know what he was going to say in the 2nd picture now. but! in exchange you'll get... severe illness? Brain damage? The blue guy didn't wait to hear the full details before pressing it.
I think the joke is that the green guy would be offering the blue guy something good in exchange for each year lost. Green being a normie pro lifer who views each year lost as a great cost and sacrifice that would need to be outweighed by a million dollars or something.
