Imagine you've just been given a drug which will kill you instantly in exactly 24 hours. Until the 24 hours elapse you exhibit no symptoms and feel fine.
What will you spend the next 24 hours doing? Something you wouldn't normally do? Or maybe something you wouldn't normally want to do because of the long-term consequences? Maybe some wild sex, or trying some crazy drugs, or spending some obscene amount of money that you couldn't usually justify? Maybe even committing some crime if you're so inclined.
It's an interesting thought, because our actions are usually constrained by the idea of consequences, punishment, and others' judgement of us, but if these are mostly removed in the 24h scenario, you'd be free to truly do whatever you like.
