Before taking it, during the morning I was very anxious with many thoughts and despair, at 5pm I took clonazepam, I wouldn't say it made me happy, but I felt a kind of calm, the famous intrusive thoughts came to my mind, but I had a very low emotional charge, that's why I let them go and didn't get hooked as it normally happens, I guess that's how the brain of a normal person works, now I'm afraid that in 2 months, which is recommended to take it to not create dependence, it will come back or even be worse than I am today. If you have had experience with this Benzo, what could you tell me?

I don't know the context of your question, but yes, that's what it does. Works better for some than others. If you plan on taking it, make sure to take breaks so that it keeps working.

The main context is that such dependence will degenerate me in the future, maybe in 2 or 3 months I will need larger doses, and so in the long term that will end up being worse for me.

Don't take it regularly or you build tolerance and you will build it fast. Don't get dependant either. Benzo withdrawal can be absolute hell on earth. Aim for once in two weeks. But try to keep it as needed the best you can, which isn't always possible.

I don't think so, at least if you take breaks in between. Normally these aren't prescribed for life. Personally, i didn't really calm me down as much as I had hoped, it's fine for say two weeks or even months. Did your dr tell you how long you should be taking it? Dependence can build up quickly for some people, but, in my experience, even 6 months are fine, it just won't work as well as it did the absolute first time.

As Daxter777 said, it's better to take it as-needed.

If you're doing a two-month course of daily clonazepam, I would anticipate some dependence developing over that period and, if the plan is for you to stop at that point, probably having to taper off it rather than suddenly stopping it.

If your doctor is telling you to take this daily for the next two months, it may be worth checking in with another doctor to get a second opinion, as well as doing some of your own research about the risks of sustained benzo usage.

If you're being prescribed a benzo on an as-needed basis, then personally, I'd keep to no more than 2-3 doses per month, to avoid tolerance. (But you'll get varying opinions about this, including varied opinions among medical professionals.)

What do you mean by saying that dependency can be hell? Do you have any experience or have you heard of any cases?

My doctor recommended 1.25mg every night. He hasn't given me a specific timeframe yet until when I'll take it. I'll have an appointment with him in 10 days, but I was really surprised at how good it made me feel despite the current chaos of my life.
