i like to isolate myself away from everyone else i already made up a lie to my family to get out of thanksgiving would i be a bad person if i made up another lie so i can avoid christmas ,i'm literally at my worst rn and i don't anyone to see me plus i have a baby bump on my tummy from my pregnancy i don't want my stepmom or dad to see and ask questions i wish i could distance and isolate myself as much as i want without people getting in the way, ive always made sure to go to holidays with family even though im always depressed and lazy and unmotivated but this year i dont even care anymore i skipped 4th of july halloween thanksgiving etc my room is a mess and i cant even get out of bed to shower all ive been doing is plsying roblox and watching youtube i feel so worthless and stupid i don't contribute anything im a horrible person also i have the flu rn so on top of mentally feeling like shit i also physically feel like shit

anyways merry christmas guys just cuz i can't have a good christmas doesnt mean you cant, what would you like for christmas this year?

I just told my family I'm not a Christian, so I don't believe in or celebrate Christmas. I told everyone not to get me gifts either. This was several years ago. I draw the line at going around telling kids there's no Santa… … let the kids have some fun. But the adults with their fake drunken merryness and boring stories/jokes… yeah no thanks. I don't miss it at all, the entire thing is overhyped unless you're a 10 year old kid.

Having the flu seems like a reasonable excuse. I doubt they want to catch it. I'm the same though. More family drama in the distant past but, it eventually (thankfully) stopped being expected of me to socialize.

The only time Christmas is good is when you're a kid because you'll get something you really want unless your parents are stupidly poor. I remember my parents put a Super Nintendo and a Sega Genesis on layaway Christmas of 1991 I got a Super Nintendo for Christmas because that's what I really wanted and my brother got a Sega Genesis. After I turned 18 our family became like a shotgun blast just spread and Christmas no longer felt happy anymore. This is my first Christmas alone completely I'll probably be sitting my fat ass on this desk of mine eating instant ramen on Christmas Day. I have no friends or family that are inviting me anywhere And no one gives damn about me I'll just sit here and rot for all the Christmases I may remain alive. Existence is very cruel to those who are not loved and cared about.
