its incredibly unlikely you will od from the act of taking it but taking it for over a week daily and then withdrawling is likely to cause a seizure and that could definitely kill you. I wouldn't do it though there are many safer, less painful and less expensive options

Xanax is very safe. Lethal overdose is virtually impossible unless combined with other drugs such as opiates.

The medical examiner found a TON of Xanax in the system of my dearest friend when she took her life by another means. Those of us who knew her best realized the Xanax had undoubtedly heightened her suicidal feelings (a notorious side effect) and her paranoia, but the ME confirmed that it did NOT cause her death.

If we are talking about overdose, you would have to take grams and grams of any benzo to actually overdose and die. The danger with benzos is when they are mixed with other drugs like opioids or alcohol.

Unfortunately, no. ODing on benzos alone will do nothing but make you black out. And I don't recommend it: You might do something stupid when you black out and end up in an even worse situation than you're in right now. That is, you might crash your car and end up a vegetable, or you might get in a fight with someone and end up in jail, or a million other things.

Benzos only work in combination with other drugs. You can mix them with alcohol or, even better, opioids. ODing on a mix of benzos and opioids would be my personal best bet.

It's definitely one of the less effective methods. At most, you'll black out and probably do a bunch of shit you won't remember, or just fall asleep. I've blacked out on xans before and made some pretty questionable decisions (so I've heard)

She used helium purchased from a welding supply store (therefore pure) and an exit bag. She'd clearly done her research to ensure success.
