hello all, hope youre managing to get through this day. sorry if this has been asked before, i dont have access to the search yet. what is the viability and method of overdosing on xanax while on alcohol? i was recently prescribed it, about 25mg per bar. how much would i need to take in order to be able to od while on alcohol, 100mg? 150mg? and how much alcohol would i need to induce it? would a liter of 80 proof do it? im only around 45kg if that helps my question. thanks and much love.

25mg or 0.25? I've never heard of anything above 2mg/tab. Either way Benzos are notoriously difficult to OD on, and mixing them with alcohol, even if a lethal dose is still a potentially horrific way to die, you may go from organ failure or asphyxiating on your vomit. Not recommended.

There are several sources in this forum even without the search option. I wouldn't recommend ctb by prescripted drugs and alcohol, I'm a frequent alcohol user and take sleeping pills daily, I've tried storing zolpidem and had a reallyyy bad hangover by taking a half a carton and drinking a bottle of vodka. I blacked out and woke up 20 hours after with my cat sleeping by my side (a guess since I don't know exactly when I blacked out). Maybe xanax is different? I don't know, but if you take this route plan it carefully.

ah shit, ive been misreading the label for the longest time. yeah it actually is 0.25mg per tab. i dont really mind either of those deaths if im being honest, i probably deserve it anyway.

sorry, all i could see were people talking about xanax in conjunction with other drugs like fentanyl. i knew it said on one of the pinned posts ctb by prescription is not recommended, i just figured that maybe xanax could be different. if what i learn about it proves to be too unattractive for me then its off the table, im mostly just exploring my options and what is the most accessible to me right now,

Yeah, Xanax doesn't come in that high of a dose. Xanax and alcohol are supposed to be avoided and I'm sure some people have died combining them (at very high levels of both) but that would be rare I think. Reco you look for more effective options. Nobody wants to try and fail

No need to apologize, it's all good. Whatever you choose to do is entirely up to you and you alone, I'm only asking that you consider it carefully and plan ahead so that you don't get hurt in the process and have a peaceful journey to the other side.

I did the same. One time with zolpidem+vodka, another time with xanax+vodka. Same results as you had.
