I'm doing some research on the conversions for ya rn. Liquid nitrogen is freezing, so if you don't want to burn yourself with how cold it is, wear protection until the gas fills the room. (Goggles, gloves, etc.)
To test it, put a small amount (if you can) into a kettle. No heat required, since it will start to boil when mixed with room temperature air.
If the liquid nitrogen is in a pressurized container, gradually reducing the pressure will also allow it to vaporize more quickly. However, this should be done carefully to avoid rapid expansion.
Otherwise, no other materials needed. Just set down the canister and open it and it should boil. Turning it from liquid to gas is easy, the only hard part is gas to liquid but we're not doing that here so it doesn't matter.
No regulator needed unless the container is pressurized, otherwise you can buy and use
this. If the hose cracks, or the container explodes, you'll still die so.. I guess it doesn't really matter. ^^
