I want to qualify that I truly believe most people can turn their lives around.
I don't want to be dismissive of what people go through but I think that it's possible to overcome struggles that are primarily internal, or otherwise in the past.
I definitely don't believe people should be forced to live, but neither do I think it should have to be our job to kill them, if it makes sense. That should be their choice.
I actually have a wonderful relationship right now, so it's not exactly like I think I would use it myself, but I can't help but think there aren't many rationalizations to keep on living,
if you are poor, transgender, and non passing. You will always be seen as a freak by society and everyone around you for the most part.
Genuinely as a non passing trans woman the only opportunity for community seems to be in mutual prostitution.
The effectiveness of our healthcare is both wildly dismissed by cis people and wildly exaggerated by other trans people desperately coping.
People definitely won't treat you as a man, or a woman, or even as a human. There is no way to appeal yourself to most people.
You begin to have "X ray vision" where you see everyone for the uncomfortable flesh they are underneath. You don't really even envy cis people, only their bodies.
Until medical transition becomes much more researched and effective, it doesn't feel humane to force people to live this way.
Ironically, the only way this would come to pass is likely as a method to get rid of all transgender people.
The notion that the world would ever extend even an ounce of sympathy to transgender people is nothing but fantasy.
So all I can do is pray that God will help preserve transgender womens hearts here on earth and then heal them in heaven.

Well, that was an awful backhanded attempt at being "sympathetic" while endorsing the killing off of a group of people based on your ideas of who is worthy and who is not. Damn. I'm not usually offended by what I read here, but you, my dear, have managed to nail it. 😡

Not too sure about that.
I respect people's freedom to die, though I think in some cases that may not be the best idea. And I don't want to minimize the struggles of poor or non passing trans people, not in the slightest. However, it's also true that most of those are due to the rampant transphobia a big chunk of society is pushing on us. It's institutional, cultural and politically convenient to dehumanize us, blame us and crush us and yadda yadda you know it.

So if then society came and said "Well, sorry for all that transphobia we are pushing on ya, but now we made it legal and easier so you can kill yourselves!!! xoxo" I might molotov a postal office.

I would much prefer If we focus our efforts on like you say actually making transgender healthcare better and more accesible, AND purging transphobia from society. Easy? Fuck no. I don't think impossible tho.
If I was in nazi germany less than a century ago seeing the political landscape and Magnus Hirschfeld's Sex Institute sacked and burned then yeah I'd probably guess too that the world would never extend even an ounce of sympathy to gay people, that they are probably fucked forever. Yet here we are (kinda). And they were freaks once. I'm certain it's gonna be a long battle though. It took over a century of progresively more overt activism for them to even be allowed to get married. With the present climate and since trans people are the new scape goat I don't think it's going to go uphill all the time, some dark ages are poking out alreday. We got that activism precedent though! hope they don't strip the rights of other queer people though!! Anything these days though!!! ranting
In conclusion, I wouldn't give them ideas.

(Also If you preserve my heart on earth in the future you better put that shit in a meka, I need no heaven shit just give me the robot)

Dude, they are just projecting their own feelings as a trans person. While I don't agree with them either, it's clear that this post was made as a result of suffering.

@plain_jane I would honestly prefer if poor non-passing transwomen were instead just given better access to gender-affirming care and mental health resources, along with having some changes in regards to how gender is viewed by our society. At the end of the day, even many cis people have trouble with passing. This is an issue especially talked about by cis women of colour, fat women, women with PCOS, and cis women in general who don't meet society's idea of what it means to be a woman. At the end of the day, being seen as a woman is more of a performance art that even a lot of cis-women have trouble performing, and thus suffer from mistreatment as a result. A lot of people are generally seen as freaks in one way or another because of the narrow views of beauty, gender, and civility placed on us by our society.

At the end of the day, it doesn't matter how many trans people you allow to die off, because people will always find others to ostracize. We live in a society that requires some form of dehumanization and ostracization against others in order to function. I feel like putting more efforts into helping others rather than just giving in and being like "well, looks like it's time for us to die because they don't like us here" is going to do more. If you want to connect with other non-passing trans people then there probably are some community clubs or events around that may allow you to do so, depending on where you live.

I had a poor non-passing best friend in college. Her name was Amore J'adore and she was magnificient. Sassy and hilarious, took shit from no one and had a lot of friends. This is not a "maybe it's just you" statement, but rather a, "I once knew one of the funniest people to walk the Earth, and that person happened to be a non-passing poor trans person" statement :) She's doing well now and I think is on her second husband TMI.

Totally agree though. It sucks to be poor, which I am, and also I see how the general population discusses the trans population, poor or not (especially working professionals are gossiped about) and it's gross. That's not even a homophobia issue, that's just an issue with society being stuck up and head up their ass.
