Why people choose N instead of SN?

The manual says that you need to take 15-20 grams of SN (not more). Some people take more - doesn't that increase the chances of vomiting? 15 grams is enough for any weight?

It's better rated in the ppeh. I don't want point out everything just read the book and you figure it out. The price tag doesn't matter as long you have enough money

Nembutal is mentioned to have a 10/10 of effectiveness rate; while NS "only" has 7/10.
And NS is mentioned to cause some discomfort and stomach aches to some people, even with the anti-emetics.
Nembutal is much more "straightforward" when it comes to killing you.

I think most people that failed either didn't take anti e's And the ones that did were found before death. There's also been some fake accounts of SN attempts. Im sure one SS user posted a thread about how he'd managed to drive himself to the hospital after taking SN. Sure that was proven to be false info.

I just don't think enough is known about it. A few weeks ago there was a British SS member that hasn't been heard from since his attempt. He put the SN in pill capsules. Didn't take any anti e's from what I can remember. He even posted a pic of the puke he'd brought up I think about 5-10 mins after taking the SN. I assume he's gone but he hasn't been heard from since so you just don't know.

I think the idea with SN is to take the recommended dose and follow the instructions. And after doing that just lay down and close your eyes.

N is much more peaceful according to the PPH but also much more expensive. Sodium nitrite is like poorman's Nembutal. LOL

Compare peacefulness ratings in the PPH.

A really big question for me is which is more peaceful SN or 1,4 Butanediol?

I wouldn't consider SN. Seems like there's a risk of unpleasant effects like a headache or convulsions. At this stage it's still experimental.

N on the other hand is a proven method that works if you follow the correct procedure.

All this planning and risk of survival is making me really envious of people who accidentally OD on opioids and die. They make dying seem as easy as falling off a bike. Meanwhile I'm so scared of waking up paralyzed that I can't even try it.
Plus, at least people who od on opioids get to die stoned, doing what they love.

N is a tried method with proven effectiveness. It is used in both legal euthanasia and the death penalty. SN is relatively new and there aren't as many cases of success as N.
