I picked two options because I browse openly in public but I also have one of those privacy covers on my phone so people can not really see my screen unless they are looking directly over my shoulder.

If I'm somewhere in public (like on a bus) where someone can peek over my shoulder then I don't go on here. But if I'm standing against a wall waiting for my bus or walking somewhere and the path is empty then I don't really care

The latest Galaxy S26 Ultra has this built into the screen itself. One time when I was browsing at work, I had a coworker come up behind me. Apart from that, I had no scares.

Nah, if I scroll on here I doubt anyone will even recognize the site in the first place even just from the logo, so I don't really bother hiding it or anything

I guess I'd worry a little about having "SS" in the corner of my screen since iirc the initials are also, unfortunately, a Nazi dogwhistle and I'm not fond of people thinking I'm a full-on racist but beyond that I just scroll on here without doing much of anything else

I feel people are really overthinking how much people care. I'd wager over 95% of the ppl you'd meet on the streets wouldn't care whatsoever.

People overestimate the amount of people who care. Most people are too preoccupied with their own things to worry about someone else unless it's something incredibly alarming. I have SH scars and I rarely cover it, initially because I just tend to forget. But then I noticed that at most, people would stare at it for a bit and then go about what they were doing.

Unless you're some social butterfly who knows everybody around or in a small tight-knit town, I don't think it would matter. As with most stuff that people tend to worry about in public, I go with this grounding thought when i feel overwhelmed by mild agoraphobia: "Nobody is gonna remember you in this particular moment. None of this matters enough to worry about. Everyone is too busy with their own shit."

The amount of people who probably know the forum is probably not even that high.

Everyone semema to forget this fact. People in public generally are not paying attention to anyone else. Honestly, how often ate all of you staring at a stranger's phone judging what site they are on? Everybody around you is the exact same.
