Constant bad luck gives me easily a heavy amount of bitterness. Mistakes made by myself make me angry. Dont know which I would rather have to be honest, if i'd have to choose one

I tried to imagine having only one but I couldn't do it. In my experience I've been stuck with both.
I've always had phenomenally shitty luck, but it is the recent catastrophic mistakes that have me so close to catching the bus.

Good question. A shit life because of bad luck may make one lash out at the World, despite the commonly accepted maxim "Life aint fair". A shit life due to bad decisions might make one more humble. The former one might live longer due to hoping one's luck might change, the latter one might at least make it easier to ctb because one did try and failed.
Either way, both case scenarios are prison planet.

I was just listening to somebody on YouTube that said, "the circumstances that happen to you in your life are not anywhere as important as how you respond to them." It stood out to me because it made me think of your question. I suppose I've found this to be true. I hate that bad things happen, but I suppose while I'm still living this would always have to be true.

Due to mistakes without a doubt. That way, it can change and you can accept and move past it. Having been dealt a shit hand in life, the completely immutable factors which are–and have been all throughout my life– out of my control, it gives me a feeling of hopelessness and bitterness at the world for smiting me so, leading me ever closer to the rope.
As others said, the former because you feel responsible (even if you aren't very much so).

I am firmly entrenched in the latter group. I cant speak for anyone else but I'd much rather have been in the former group. Of course its always easier to to think the grass is greener on the other side but that's how I feel. There's no way for me to get around or past the thoughts that I am a deeply disturbed person. There's no way anyone who knows would ever want to continue to do so if they knew everything I have done.
In my case I got fucked by someone else and then I continued to fuck it my own self. For me there is no turning back or starting over. To many lines have been crossed and all the bridges have been burned. The only way that's left for me is pedal to the metal forward into the abyss. For all of you young ones don't make my grave mistake of isolating yourself from the world and everyone around you. Even if you are a fuck up at everything you do and you think that you dissapoint more often than not, just don't be alone. Money, cars a nice house mean nothing if you have no one to share them with. Most of us come into this world and leave it alone. But that doesn't mean we have to spend our time here however limited it might be the same way. I know for some of you it might be difficult to "put yourself out there" but please do your best and try. You have no idea what you are missing. And it might save your life.

A shit life because of bad luck. This is because no matter what I do and I could do everything 'right' but then things still go to shit due to circumstances outside of my control. However, if it was my own decisions that led up the consequences, then I have only myself to blame and would just accept that I "fucked" myself up.

I'd say a life ruined by luck is worse than one ruined by bad decisions. At least the person who made the bad decision has the peace of mind to know what was their fault, whedeas the person ruined by fate always has to second guess their entire life. Ultimately, both end up blaming themselves anyway though.
